HGV Class 2 Driver

Role Summary
HG are recruiting HGV2 Drivers for our established Wincanton site in Rochdale.  The role is store delivery work for a well-known retailer, delivering clothing and sports goods.  This role offers 4 on 3 off shift pattern, plenty of overtime and flexibility, with fixed rota’s available on a temp to perm basis.  There is no requirement for nights away, this is all day work.  Pay rates are very competitive, from day one, with a guarantee of 8 hours per day!

Monday – Friday Nights 18:00 – 05:59 £19.95
Saturday all hours £20.99
Sunday all hours £22.23

Parity from day 1 Pay rates HGV2
Monday – Friday Days 06:00 – 17:59 £14.16
Monday – Friday Nights 18:00 – 05:59 £16.16
Saturday all hours £17.00
Sunday all hours £18.00

Shift start times available
03:00 – 05:00
12:00 – 15:00

Requirements
HGV2 license – Minimum of 12 months experience required
Full HGV2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
Excellent geographical knowledge
Customer focused attitude.
