Branch Manager

Due to continued growth within our business HG Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Management Professional to lead the team in our Northampton Branch.

Working pattern to be Monday to Friday 08-00 to 17-00 or 09-00 to 18-00 however flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the business

Remuneration £40k pa Basic Salary dependent upon experience with achievable profit related bonus Excellent benefits package including car/car allowance

About your new Role

  • Full cycle billing Manager whilst developing and managing a team.
  • Key Account Management and Development
  • New win Business
  • Development Team management

Primary Objective

To maximise productivity and deliver profit by winning new and servicing local clients and key customers from national accounts, through the implementation of agreed company processes.

To provide customer orientated service to existing clients and adhere to an auditable compliance process.

Secondary Objectives

  • Delivery of requirements through sales activities by gaining appropriate levels of new business and retaining/growing existing business resulting in Turnover and Profit growth
  • Deliver local client and national accounts requirement and gain market credibility in the local area
  • Ensure all candidates are offered suitable work and receive a professional and proactive service Managing the performance and development of employees within the branch to maximise productivity, exceed targets and ensure staff retention
  • Support and champion change initiatives within the Company and branch
  • Following the company reporting procedure Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Manage your team through the one-to-one process.
  • Manage individual performance through identifying performance growth areas.
  • Engage with branch team to guarantee our product knowledge is delivered to company standard and within current legislative compliance.
  • Produce accurate financial forecasts/reports for the branch on a quarterly basis, or as required by the area/regional manager/director
  • Track financial information and reports to monitor progress against plan.
  • Control branch overheads to maintain profitability.

Experience/Qualifications

Proven experience in a customer driven service environment or appropriate experience of the Transport & Logistics world plus a natural aptitude for a customer driven service environment. Experience of leading and managing a vibrant team Experience of managing and maintaining a P&L Ability to converse with all levels of internal and external stakeholders

Key performance Indicators

Presentation of account plans to senior management and clients Enabling teams to achieve daily KPI’s to ultimately grow business performance Client maintenance Staff Retention/Reduced attrition Auditable compliance.
