Role Summary:

• Due to continued success and an increasing order book, our prestigious and well established client based in Wigan is urgently seeking an experienced CNC Miller.
• We are ideally looking for an exceptional CNC Miller with many years of experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment who has proven experience of Programming and Setting CNC Milling Machining Centers.
• Experience of programming CNC Milling Machining Centers using Heidenhain controls would be a distinct advantage.

Main duties would include:

• Programming and setting CNC Milling Machining centers.
• producing low volume, high value complex components to tight tolerances by studying engineering drawings and Computer generated Models and applying knowledge of materials and machining methods.
• The ideal candidates must be Time Served and should possess minimum GCSE and City & Guilds / ONC Qualifications.

Working hours and benefits:

• 39 Hours per week
• Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4.00pm
• Fri 7.30am to 3.00pm
• Overtime paid at time and half
• Company Pension Scheme after 3 months

PAYE Pay rates

• £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
