HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 | Hemel Hempstead

HG are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Hemel Hempstead working on an long term temp basis. Minimum 6 months experience.

You will be required to carry out multi-drop deliveries of chilled/Ambient goods to all high street stores. Loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a  day to day basis. Some Trunking work from Depot to depot. You will be on a fixed rota of working any 5 out of 7. 3 days of your working week you will be required to complete Class 2 work as a minimum. You may also be required to complete work at different depots within 55 miles of Hemel Hempstead where you will be compensated for your travel.

PAYE Pay rates available

PAYE from £18.15-£22.88 per hour

Shift start times available

Working on a fixed shift pattern of any 5 out of 7 (3 out of 5 will be working on Class 2)

AM- starts from 0400-0700

Requirements

• HGV 1 license – Minimum with 12 months experience.
• HGV 1  licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
