HGV Class 1 Driver

Role Summary
HG are recruiting HGV1 Drivers for our established Wincanton site in Northampton, the role is store delivery work for a well-known supermarket delivering, frozen, chilled and ambient goods.  This role offers plenty of overtime and flexibility, with fixed rota’s available for a minimum of 4 shifts per week.  Pay rates are very competitive, from day one, with a guarantee of 8 hours per day!

Pre-parity - First 12 weeks PAYE Pay rates HGV1, paid hourly
Monday – Friday Days 06:00 – 17:59 £18.00
Monday – Friday Nights 18:00 – 05:59 £22.00
Saturday and Sunday from 00:00 Saturday until 23:59 Sunday £22.00
Overtime after 47.5 hours worked weekly from £24.00 - £26.20
Bank holiday Days £36.00
Bank Holiday Nights £38.00

Parity - After 12 weeks PAYE Pay rates HGV1
Monday – Friday Days 00:00 – 23:59 £21.21
Monday – Friday Nights 18:00 – 23:59 £22.39
Saturday and Sunday from 00:00 Saturday until 23:59 Sunday £23.00
Overtime after 47.5 hours worked weekly £31.82 - £33.59
Bank holiday Days £42.42
Bank Holiday Nights £44.78

09:00 – 12:00

Available rota’s but not limited to
Sunday – Wednesday
Wednesday – Sunday
Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements
HGV C+E Class 1 license 
Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
Excellent geographical knowledge
Customer focused attitude.
