Workshop Fabricator Welder 
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8am–4.30pm, Fri 8am–3pm
Job Type: Permanent 
Pay: Competitive + Overtime at 1.5x

HG Engineering is hiring experienced Fabricator Welders for a variety of exciting workshop-based projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company known for quality and reliability. Work is primarily days-based with optional overtime available to significantly increase your earnings.

What You’ll Do:

• Fabricate and weld metal components (MIG/TIG)

• Work with sheet metal, tubular steel, and bespoke designs

• Manufacture items like office furniture frames, handrails for commercial vehicles, and custom one-off projects

• Operate workshop machinery (presses, grinders, saws)

• Read and interpret technical drawings

• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding

• Skilled in MIG welding techniques

• Comfortable with technical drawings and workshop tools

• Strong attention to detail and work ethic

• Ability to work independently and in a team
