Role Summary
HG are recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller, to work within a large distribution company. This is a fixed term contract for 3 months with a potential to be extended.

You will be predominantly working from Home but will need to travel to the Depot 2 days per month.

You will be able to effectively carry out national inventory duties including expediting for a group of commodities to be allocated, ensuring that the targets, policies and procedures are adhered to under Inventory Management on behalf of the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all inventory data related to the products and towers.

• Work closely with the Range Management team to ensure smooth transition of contracts

• Achieve stock levels set out in the KPI

• Manage out delisted lines for minimum write off

• Liaise with all stakeholders as required

• Build relationships with Suppliers utilising SRM programme

• Contribute with Operations to have most effective deliveries

• Manage issues with suppliers through stakeholders to resolution

• work with WMS systems to achieve the economical stock file

• review reports and update as necessary on behalf of the team and managers

• identify continuous improvements

• understand where needs may require alternative solutions and explore options

• work alongside stakeholders to facilitate requirements to reduce writing off products

PAYE Pay rates

 

Shift start times available

Monday through Friday 08.00 – 16.00

Requirements
The Successful Applicant:

• Must be commutable to Alfreton at least two days per month

• Relevant experience in an inventory/stock/systems role, in a high-volume operation

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills;
• Will have a strong background in WMS systems
• A demonstrable experience of working in a complex logistics and or supply chain operation is needed

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail

• Good commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills with experience of customer relationship management
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others to include communication, presentation, analysis, negotiation etc;
