Fully Skilled Commercial Body Builder

Role Summary:

HG are recruiting experienced Fully skilled commercial body builders based in Manchester.  Our client is looking for skilled bodybuilders to play a key role in repairing vehicle and trailer bodies to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• We are currently looking for self-driven individuals to join the team and develop a career path through results and innovation.
• The ideal candidates will have a range of skills and knowledge associated with the fabrication and manufacturing of commercial vehicle bodywork.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and repair structures and fixtures according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit the project requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area

Experience required:

• Previous experience in construction / Vehicle body building or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic carpentry techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labour as required
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation

Skills:

• Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, grinders etc.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand how different components work together
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience using power tools such as circular saws, drills, etc.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm
• Overtime is available
