HGV C+E Class 1 

Role Summary 
HG are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to with Trunking duties to DC’s and RDC’s with our client based in Rugby with immediate start dates available, newly passed drivers are welcome – Full training will be given!  We have rota patterns for committed drivers on a fixed ongoing working pattern. Overtime and extra shifts available. The work is clean and generally trunking with one or two collections and no handball.? 

PAYE (rolled up holiday inclusive) Pay rates HGV1 for drivers with 1 year experience, newly passed driver will qualify for these rates from 13/10/2024 
£16.25 - £19.05 per hour Days 06:00 – 14:00 
£18.49 - £20.73 per hour Afternoons 14:00 – 22:00 
£18.77 - £21.01 per hour Nights 22:00 – 06:00 

PAYE CHRISTMAS RATES applicable from 13/10/2024 for drivers with 1 year experience, newly passed driver will qualify for these rates from 13/10/2024 
£18.49 - £21.29 per hour Days 06:00 – 14:00 
£20.73 - £22.97 per hour Afternoons 14:00 – 22:00 
£21.01 - £23.25 per hour Nights 22:00 – 06:00 

Shift start times available 
01:00 – 03:00 
04:00 – 12:00 
12:00 – 17:00 
18:00 – 23:00 

Available rota’s but not limited to 
Sunday – Thursday 
Tuesday – Saturday 
Wednesday – Sunday

Requirements 
HGV C+E Class 1 license – Newly passed welcome! 
Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements 
Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards 
A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive 
Excellent geographical knowledge 
Customer focused attitude
