HGV Driver

Role Summary
HG are recruiting HGV 1 Shunters to work with our client based in Welwyn Garden City working on a long term basis with fixed shift patterns with AM & PM vacancies. Previous experience of trunking is an advantage but not essential.

PAYE & RUP (inclusive to holiday pay)  Pay rates available

PAYE from £18.00-£22.18ph

Shift start times available

• 0600-1000 start AM 10-12 hour shifts
• 1600-2000 Start PM 10-12 hour shifts

Benefits

• Regular work and job security ( weekly bookings initially Monday-Friday)
• Excellent rates of pay
• Minimum 8 hours work per shift

Requirements

• HGV 1 license – Minimum with 6 months experience.
• HGV 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
