Transport Clerical – Wincanton Site, Waltham Abbey
Location: Waltham Abbey
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – 3 x 12-hour shifts and 1 x 10-hour shift
Shifts: AM and PM available

Pay (PAYE – Paid Weekly):
£13.71 per hour for hours worked between 06:00 – 17:59
An additional £1.85 per hour night allowance for hours worked between 18:00 – 05:59

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Process transport paperwork and update spreadsheets
• Assist with driver debriefs
• Ensure legal compliance (e.g. driver card downloads, mileage checks)
• Answer calls from stores and drivers, escalate when needed
• Carry out administrative tasks from the Transport Team Manager
• Monitor stock of sundries
• Handle internal and external email queries
• Take notes during investigations and disciplinary meetings

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Confident with MS Excel and Word
• Able to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Proactive with good time management
•  Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
