Elec Bias Maintenance Engineer


Our client is the UKs largest independent cheese processing companies supplying sliced, grated, block and continental cheese to wholesalers, retailers, and sandwich manufacturers. We are urgently seeking a full time an Electrical Bias, Night Shift Maintenance Engineer.

Role Description:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
 

• Attending breakdowns.
• Planned maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance.
• General works.
• Contribute to equipment and process improvements.
• Carry out personal projects to improve efficiency and reliability of the equipment.
• Documents your works on CMMS system.
• You will ensure that all standards of housekeeping are maintained in line with the company's engineering procedures, Quality System, and Health & Safety procedures.

• You will ensure all written and online documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner according to company polices.
• Develop relationships with all departments to enhance communication across teams and deliver great customer service.
• Effectively communicate new company requirements and procedures to the team.
  
  Desired experience:
   
• You will ideally have at least 5 years engineering experience within fast paced FMCG environment
• Experience in working with Labelers and Thermoformers
• HNC as minimum or Relevant engineering qualifications
• NVQ Level 3 in engineering / equivalent (Preferably in electrical maintenance)
• Electrical or Multiskilled with an Electrical bias
