Role Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team! Your role will include:

• Mowing lawns on playing fields, parks, and outdoor spaces
• Stimming lawn edges to maintain clean and neat borders
• Cutting and pruning shrubs for aesthetic and health purposes
• Using blowers to clear pathways and remove leaves
• General groundskeeping and maintenance tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard
• Operate machinery such as mowers, blowers, and strimmers
• Maintain safety standards at all times
• Support team members and independently complete assigned tasks
• Manage time efficiently and meet deadlines

Required Competencies, Skills & Experience:

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Valid driving license (required for travel between sites)
• Proven gardening experience or willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive with the ability to adapt and react under pressure
• Flexible approach to tasks and working conditions
• Able to take initiative in maintaining outdoor spaces
