HGV Class 2 Driver

HG Recruitment is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for multidrop collections and deliveries of recycled windows, doors, and frames from fabricators and construction sites. This position offers an immediate start, with the possibility of securing a permanent contract in the future.

The Role:

• Multidrop collections and deliveries of recycled windows, doors, and frames
• Driving an 18-tonne rigid vehicle (curtain-sider or box body)
• Completing 5 to 15 drops/collections per shift
• Following planned routes and schedules
• Ensuring safe loading and unloading (minimal handball)
• Completing necessary paperwork or using a handheld scanner
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

The Requirements:

• Valid HGV C (Class 2) licence with minimum of 6 months of experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Solid understanding of transport compliance and road safety
