HGV Driver

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV1 Drivers to work with an established retail distribution company. The role includes a mix of store deliveries including cage work and trunking duties. We have fixed ongoing working pattern, overtime and extra shifts available. You must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience driving a HGV.

Pay rates:

PAYE: Monday to Friday £16.00, Saturday £19.00 & Sunday £20.00 per hour

Shift start times available:

Monday to Friday between 02:00 & 04:00 hours

Monday to Friday between 13:00 & 15:00 hours

Weekend work is available

Benefits:

• A minimum pay of 8 hours guaranteed daily

Requirements:

• HGV 1 license with a minimum of 12 months experience required
• Full HGV 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
